Our mission is to mobilize an expanding corps of advocates who, on behalf of women, children and young people, invest in Nepal's future for generations to come.

Our goal is to grow the Friendship Trek into the largest
2-week community service event
in Nepal.

Our volunteers come from all kinds of backgrounds, and work on a variety of great projects.

Our projects are
co-sponsored by approved organizations based in the US
or in Nepal, and are designed
to radically improve the lives of Nepalese women, children and young people.

Want to learn more about Nepal?

Take advantage of one of our fascinating and informative courses on Nepal's people and culture. Our trained presenters would love to come to your church, service club or community group to introduce you to one of the most beautiful countries in the world. We have several programs to choose from:

> Nepal 101
What is life like on the opposite side of the globe? Nepal is comprised of 30+
distinct ethnic tribes, making for a rich, diverse cultural experience.

> Nepal's children are not for sale!
Over 15,000 school age girls will be sold into the sex trade this year. Learn how
you can protect Nepalese girls from human trafficking.

> From Poverty to Prosperity
Over half of the population barely survives on $1.25 a day. How can we
encourage economic stability in Nepal?

> Can you read this to me?
Only half of the men and one-third of the women can read and write. How does
illiteracy undermine Nepal's efforts to establish a stable democracy, and what
can we do about it?

Is there a specific topic not listed, but you would like to your group to learn about? Call us and we'll design a program specifically to meet your needs: 626-616-9129.
